The Czech Baroque composer Jan Dismas Zelenka spent most of his creative lifetime in the city so famous as a music center in the half of the 18th century – in Dresden.During this period Zelenka not only directed all of the sacred music but was responsible for its composition s well.
Missa Sanctissimae Trinitatis was completed in 1736 as the first of five High Mass compositions he wrote in the last ten years of his live.
